Education Initiative

The NEHTN is spearheading an educational initiative. The goal of this initiave is to provide college credit HT education in the Northeast.  Horticultural therapists in the Northeast seeking to further their HT education often must travel great distances for coursework that meets AHTA standards, such as certificate programs. This has made obtaining coursework a lengthy and financially challenging undertaking. This educational initiative, once established will alleviate that problem.

Please join us in this exciting initiative.  Business meetings are scheduled to coincide with the workshops. There is no fee to attend the meeting; however there is a nominal fee to attend the workshop. For more information, visit: “Workshop” or contact: Kathryn Desjardins at Kathryn.Desjardins@ct.gov or call (860) 630-4104(W)/(860) 230-8324(C).
